Our core focus and goal include the safe health for our working staff, environments and people living in our working society, which both our working staffs and co-existing environment wellbeing and safety are of top priorities to us. We are sure and know that mishaps and injuries can be prevented through our core health and safety protocols. Zero incidents have been a main target and focus to us, but we also want to be conscious of our surroundings. We are committed to thriving in a deeply ingrained culture of operational excellence and safety. As a result, our company has strict standards and practices in place for managing health and safety. We make sure that every worker at our sites, including contractors, are all aware of our health and safety protocols which they must all follow suit.
As we work to ensure that industry best practices are incorporated into our operations, we will work to comply with and, where possible, exceed the standards established by local laws and regulations. - Fulfill legal and other requirements relating to safety, health & mental well-being, environmental & marine protection and fire safety.
- Drive excellence in HSE by setting challenging goals (leading & lagging), as well as conducting periodic evaluations and reviews to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
- Consult workers to promote a proactive HSE Safety Culture that is consistent with Jurong Port’s Core Values and Whistleblowing Policy.
- Develop effective systems & processes to eliminate and/or minimize risks, work related injury, ill health, environmental pollution and fire-related incidents. Conduct continual improvement of systems and processes.
